ACO 2-05: Professional Staff Engineer-Metallurgist
A challenging career opportunity exists at Anamet, Inc.for a mechanical or materials engineer-metallurgist with failure analysis and forensic engineering experience. The candidate selected for this position will be expected to provide depth and diversity to the capabilities of the professional staff and to assist the Director of Engineering and Laboratories with technical work as needed:
Specific requirements of the candidate are:

A minimum of 2 years experience in materials failure analysis, |
 |
 |
An advanced degree in mechanical engineering, materials science, welding engineering or a related discipline, |
 |
 |
Good oral and written communications skills, |
 |
 |
Demonstrated mechanical testing skills, |
 |
 |
Other desirable attributes include: presentation experience at professional technical meetings and successful attainment of an EIT certificate and expected completion of the examination requirements for a PE license as soon as eligible. | |
